how can i hide the address bar when am in full screen mode. as it appears when navigating from page to page

The address bar UI element also displays the page load status.

That's the only reason you see it for the duration of the page load activity when navigating from page to page in full screen mode.

To remove this, (if it's even possible), you would probably also remove the UI element that displays page load activity in both full screen and windowed mode. Might not be cool.

I just wanted to hide it since it just seems pointless, as I've already got a back button on the proximity sensor

as cddiede, the point IS the load status, and change of page address, if it didn't pop up you could be navigated away to other sites without even realising.

I think I see where m40v3r is coming from?

You could still access the address bar via the soft key (window mode) but just not have the bar appear when navigating from page to page?

I would still prefer some notification of the browsers activity so this could be implimented by a descrete clock symbol on screen like the Playstation3 web browser perhaps?
