Try n see if Sib works...
(try app manager, or open a terminal and enter this command as root: apt-get install sib)

What resolution is ur mkv at?? since the N900 wont play any file above its normal resolution of 800x480
Try converting ur files before playing them on the N900...

I actually download all the series of tv show name "Chuck" and there are lots of videos and it will take lots of time to convert thats why i asked this question
