Hi,

I want to connect my N900 to another device via USB without the memory card drive appearing.

Unmounting the memory card does not work as the actual drive is detected through USB even when there is no memory card in the device.

Is there a simple way I can ensure that only the main N900 storage drive shows up when plugged in via USB?

Thanks

It should be easy to just not enter hostmode, no? Use PC Suite mode, or better yet, click out of the pop-up screen, and it'll try to go into charing-only.

Alternatively, you could format the card that you don't want appearing to a filesystem the OS of the device you're plugging it into can't interpret/read. *Shrug*

Beyond that, you prob'ly have to modify the g_filestorage (or whatever it's called) driver to allow choosing what to present as usb mass storage....Not sure if that's even open source.
