hello everyone,

is there a good way to monitor system temp?
i remember something about the battery temp, but thats didnt seem ideal.
is there a consensus on what is best?

There is no facility to monitor the CPU temp.

If you install power kernel you can monitor the battery charger chip temperature. While this is not the CPU temp, it does give a good indication of when the system is getting hot.
