My trusty freshly replaced n900 (lost previously) had a trip out of my pocket and into a bucket of water.

I have stripped phone apart, dried it out, left it in box of rice in hopes of saving the old girl.

Put her back together today and turned her on and she gets Nokia screen on powering on (no notification light).

However this screen stays on for 20 seconds and then the unit turns off.

Strange thing, I can connect it to laptop via USB and flash it using maemo flasher with no errors.

Any thoughts people? Due to my claim for previous lost phone I have to wait until April for my insurance to renew so I can claim. Debating whether to send it off to repair place. Anybody had any good experiences with UK based repair places?
