I tired for being unable to take any photos with my N810, cause camera lens cover plastic is scratched (got it like this from used device seller).
Now I disassembled it to see, if it is replacable or repairable.
I understood, that it is removable, and replacable, but about repairing, I could cut that frontal cover off, find some thin plastic, just to not let dust/debris inside camera area and harm lens. But that feels crappy workaround. I doubt, I will get so tiny part or plastic/glass glued to such a small space, as it shoul go inside front cover. Maybe, drilling a hole, just to remove plastic from lens viewable area, leaving just a small hole open...
Only place I found it sold, was in iphonerepairparts.com, but this is part, together with faceplate, and costs almost ~30$ (with discount). Too pricy, just to fix lens cover...
If anyone has dead N810, that can be/already used for spare parts, I would gladly ask to mail me this tiny part
