I don't know about the technical stuff, but if I had the same problem, I would try to uninstall the app (quick widget) and see if it removes that widget.. and then I would reinstall it..

which .qml file are you using? You could change it's dimensions and then the widget will get bigger and you will be able to get rid of it. Or you can also simply delete it's source - qml file. That way widget will get back to it's "no qml file" state and again you can close it then

@eefo Sorry to not offer any solutions, but what is that arrow icon in the bottom left of your screen? Good luck fixing your problem
EDIT: ignore me, it's Nicolai's desktop switcher. Still, good luck!
i cant remove it as the cross button is under the settings one
any way to get rid of it ?
p.s i tried posting this thread in quick widget's official thread but it's keep on giving me a blank page and nothing , so thought to make a new one .
solution : run this command without gain root .
quick-widgets in-background forget-widgets
and after it say
that we were asked to forget all widgets !
forget all widgets.
press clrt+c
