Hi

I installed the maemo sdk using the GUI installer on Ubuntu 9.10 when I try to login to scratchbox by typing "/scratchbox/login" I get "/scratchbox/login: Permission denied", also in the esbox IDE I can't choose the build target as following:

I've installed the maemo sdk before and I didn't see this errors. is there a way to handle this.

Did you reboot after installation?

I had the same error and it was solved by simply rebooting.

it works now, thank you very much

I re-extracted the esbox to work too, thank you again

Reboot to fix a permission problem?

Why not try to understand why it happened and actually fix it?

solution is the following, for the record.

./sbox_configure yes sbox
Code:
Usage: ./sbox_configure <sudo mode>=yes|no <group>
