Hello maemo friends

n900 clean ok . with maemo 5 only without multiboot or uboot , nothing , maemo 5 pr 1-3 firmware nokia original.

i installed meego 1.2 developer edition in emmc

this steps:

i downloaded meego 1.2 image and meego vm linuz

and http://wiki.meego.com/ARM/N900/Install/EMMC

14 may 2011 release acceptance version

all ok meego 1.2 installed ,

I wish to return to maemo

I want to reformat, flash, but I can not, always commands do not work, the phone playing the "U" key does not enter in flash mode.

And computer do not recognize n900 for to format partition with gparted or other.

And i tried to install meego 1.1 with image and vmlinuz
using
sudo ./n900-de-emmc-installer.sh -i [MeeGo Image] -f -k [Kernel] but nothing not start to flash

forever start in meego 1.2

and well???

right these instructions don't support the latest image. and you hold the U buttons and then plug in the usb

hello?? i am not a newby , i pressed U button and then connected usb but nothing and i am asking how now i can format/flash

I heard about a meego rescue disk. that would allow you to access the partitions directly.

but if you cant even get to flasher, if might be pointless. and from the link you posted. it seems you don't need to press the U button, I know it doesnt seem like a big deal, but it might just be a little thing.
