It seems to me that pages that override the style of controls such as the textbox or the scrollbars cause display issues with the new firmware.

I wonder if this could be fixed by a user css (if Opera on the n800 has support for that).

did you restore from backup after upgrading to the new firmware?

if so try this, reboot, switch themes to one of the standard ones...reboot.

see if you still face the text box problems.....
