Quick answer:
Show me a device that does Internet nearly as well as the N800 under $500 and smaller than a subnotebook.

I didn't even know of this Live earth business till now. Way to make a statement. Your not going to get the N800 for a stupid *** live stream of bad pop stars. Give me a break. I think the earth will be better off if you don't watch dumb as pop stars thinking they are making the earth better by jumping up and down on stage. Did they walk to the concert to save energy and the environment or drive with huge tour buses. You are trying to save the earth, thats not the way, through pop idols, if anything save it from bad music and live streaming concerts and Mr "Thinks he knows it all" Al Gore. Get a Mac book to watch your concert - i'm sure that'll make your environmental friendly hippies happy.

Serious point is estimated audience for live earth was 2 billion and although it was one of the internet largest audience it was impossible to watch it on N800.
The n800 can do live TV streaming so why not in this instance? Bearing in mind the appliance is sold as Internet table you would expect it to do what it says on the box.
Nokia issued a firmware upgrade couple of days previously so we cant use old technology as an excuse.
So what went wrong and more importantly are Nokia in a position to rectify the situation in the near future?
The concept of the N800 is good but if it main strength and sales promotion is internet use I think it only fair that it has no major failings in its target area.
