Has anyone got their Ovi contacts account running through thier N900. I got up this morning to find that the account won't connect. Has anyone else got this issue at all?

The IM d/c & connects like 5 or 6 times a day always have problems on N900 i have both OVI and Gmail accounts active but never last a whole day without d/c and some times taking long time back to connect.

How do you enable Ovi contacts on N900 in the first place? The website stil says N900 not supported...?

could be it's about the IM account - what's it called now? ovi chat? it used to be called "contacts on ovi" when it started.

yeah its under IM in Settings...

when u add an account all account members will be added in ur contacts.

to answer the question: i have the ovi account activated right now and it connects without problem.

Odd-- I added Ovi but contacts did not come in. In fact I see no way to force it...

in Contacts click on "All Contacts" top of the screen and choose "Availability" then it will sort the contacts and ur OVI contacts will come on top of the rest.

Guys i need your help? is ovi chat or contact working in N900, cause it doesnot connect at all??

i've problem to use the chat with ovi contacts,
mi gilrfriend has an n8 with ovi chat but i can't see her in my contacts.
i've to add her like username or username@ovi.com?
if i add her like username appear a red simbol close to her name in the section chat ovi by nokia.

someone can help me?


i would to apologize for my bad english
