I'm running dsme-server as follows:
[1|root@(none)|~] BOOTSTATE=`getbootstate` /sbin/dsme-server -p /usr/lib/dsme/libstartup.so -l stderr -v 3
getbootstate: User pressed power button
DSME 0.60.48 starting up
BOOTSTATE: 'USER'
state change request: DSME_STATE_NOT_SET -> DSME_STATE_USER
Startup state: DSME_STATE_USER
DSME error: can't load /var/lib/dsme/stats/lifeguard_resets: No such file or directory

DSME critical: DSME 0.60.48 starting up
DSME critical: BOOTSTATE: 'USER'
DSME critical: state change request: DSME_STATE_NOT_SET -> DSME_STATE_USER
DSME critical: Startup state: DSME_STATE_USER
DSME error: Error reading R&D mode flags, Lifeguard reboots enabled
---
but when I'm trying to run '/usr/sbin/dsmetool --start-dbus' from another console, dsme-sever ends with "Segmentation fault". What exactly am I missed?.. Can somebody help me?

somehow I've got it to work: firstly I executed 'BOOTSTATE=`getbootstate` /sbin/dsme -p /usr/lib/dsme/libstartup.so '
