Hello,
I just connected my N900 to Nokia PC Suite, intending to add a new contact via Comm.Center.
I noticed Pc Suite had stored quite a number of outdated contacts that have been haunting me for ages, restoring themselves to my device whenever I hooked it up to Pc- or Ovi Suite.
In an attempt to finally get rid of them, I thought "OK, I'll just wipe PC -suite clean and then restore my hand-picked contacts to it from the device." Well, bad idea, of course everything was wiped from N900 too! aaaaaaaarggggh!
Is there any way to restore everything to the way it was before? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease be there, restore option!
(Btw, yes, I have some backups, the most recent one being from when PR 1.3 came out, go figure - I restored that, and apart from my contacts now being completely out of date, my calendar is also wiped)
Thanks, Ben

Ok, so bad luck for me, nothign to be done here.

But, new question: can anyone explain why PCSuite shows me contacts I deleted long ago from my device when I connect it, but when I disconnect it, it refuses to show any contacts at all?
I mean, if they're stored only by PCSuite, then why can't I edit them without connecting the phone?
Isn't there any possibility at all to get rid of what I synced with PCSuite ages ago?
Thanks, Ben
