I just get a black screen where the vid should play.
have they moved onto a newer flash?

I have just tried this too and also got the black screen.... eeek!

Changing the tweekflash settings to 10.0.45 Linux desk top (recommended) resolved it


I really don't want another scare like that again

tweekflash? i know nothing about linux.
could somebody do a simpletons walkthrough on how to change settings please

Sorry there mate

Tweak flash is an application that can be downloaded via APP Manager.

This does not alter the version of the flashplayer plug-in in microB but changes the flash player signiture which fools website in to thinking you have a much high version than you have.

I do think you are right in beliving that youtube has changed their flashplayer but vids are still playable by changing the setting in tweak flash.
