I'd try reflashing N900 completely first off. Then once booted into a clean N900, I'd check dmesg for any useful errors from the OneNAND.
Hi guys
Need your advice...anyone!!
My Nokia N900 touch screen just stopped working. One minute it was working....next minute.....no response. It simply stayed lit up, but it would not scroll or work when touched.
I switched it off, took the battery out for a minute or so and turned it on again. The usual start-up screen came up but I could not change the default settings (Language, Region, Time and Date). It will not respond to touch and there is no other way I know of that you can set these. Consequently it is now stuck on the start-up screen and will not allow me to save any settings. I have done this several times, even left it off for an hour or so. It boots up to the default settings and gets stuck there. I can't even us it as a phone. I rang the number a few times from another phone. It registers as a working phone, but does not ring and it cannot be answered. When I plug it in via USB on my laptop, it starts charging the battery but it does not register as a device that I can use. I just stays fixed on the same screen.
Can anyone out there help?
