hi everyone,

i suppose this is a silly question but i cannot seem to find the menu to reset the data plan counter which is shown on the "data plan monitor" ...

can anyone please help?? thanks a lot ...

this should do it. go to Settings > phone > data counter > reset.
I think the app just takes it from there and not from the service provider directly.

Shame it probably won't reset at the end of a billing cycle. I should reset mine soon. >.>

@Laughing Man: yeah ... that would be a great improvement but its still a very useful and good app IMO especially when my data plan ain't unlimited ....

don't totally rely on it. mine reset by itself yesterday. now i dont know what my usage is.. has anyone experienced this too?

started using counter about 2 weeks ago. got to about 60mb them went back to 0 during a camera crash.

I spent ages and ages looking for that last week: my plan rolled over on Christmas day and I had better things to be doing!. Who decided the data log should be under 'phone' settinging instead of 'internet' settings. :wtf:

Mine and Fargus' exact grumblings last night at the Linux user group, eventually I had to search the forums for the answer.
I expected it to be: tap background > tap gear in upper right corner > tap spanner icon that appears in in corner or dataplan widget.

n.b many people there very interested in the N900
