hy people hi have a Big probb
i was instaling in the aplication manager the maemo recorder but did say not possible , so i whent to the my aplications instaled list and it was red so i give the order to unistall but he say not possible so i trie to uninstall a game just for testing anb the result was the same , then i whent to the install section and tried to install some aplication and games ,still always the same nono ,since maemo recorder he dont actualize so i whent to the shell as root and find a problem in a repo,ok now im going to desactivate the repo but for my suprise with the repo off still NONO no actualization,no unistall no install so i open the log and the result was this--------------------------

and after i did the apt-get update and still the same error , on the aplication manager all the same , Dont unistall , Dont install , dont actualizate as described above

I ve try on my n800

cd /var/lib/dpkg
dpkg --clear-avail
apt-get update

and it's work.

last maemo version in a n770 OS2006 3.2006.49-2
one more thing , that is the system in the 2gb mmc i did the second flash yesterday and now i have certain aplications that i need for work and i was just tring to instal the maemo recorder for fun , grrrrrrr now all this errors

It was missing the cd /var/lib/dpkg in your post but after that , work the dpkg --clear-avail command but
at the end still same error , and in plication manager still the same situation

I uncheck the repository from openbossa , and now he do the update but dont install and unistall the aplications
