Just got the N800. I connect fine to my WLAN at home but the security is just a registered MAC address.

At work, we use WPA with EAP, EAP type = PEAP, no certificate and EAP method = EAP MSCHAPv2.

I'm using just my network username and password and I get "Authentication Failed".

Anyone have any suggestions? Should I be using a fully qualified version of my domain/userid?

Try searching the forum for "PEAP".

Any luck figuring this out? I have the exact same problem. And search for "PEAP" on the forum didn't solve it.

If anyone knows anything.. you'd be saving my life.

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. Looking at the logs for the access point, it appears that the n800 tries to connect, but the username it sends is scrambled, and not what I've entered in the connection configuration. Our network admins seemed surprised at this, so I don't get the sense that it's what is supposed to happen. Could there be a problem with the driver for this particular configuration that causes it to mangle the username?

any help would be appreciated.
