sudo gainroot
apt-get install greasemonkey
Then install this script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/96773
You'll get the old gallery back which is much nicer to view photos.
As for videos, install TweakFlashPlugin, set version Android 10.1 (Froyo) and you should be able to view videos.

Just long press on the photo & it will show u option to open link in new window...That new window display the photo in old FB style...
Does anyone know of a good way to view facebook photos on the N900?
I dont get on with sociality and fmobi and just use the web browser to view it, but the photos always crash! Anyone got any ideas?
Also, is there any way to view the videos?
