kudos to anyone who takes the time to improve the task functionality on my n900.
The best solution I've found is using toodledo tasks, synced to my phone with nueavasync over MfE. unfortunately the task list on the calendar doesn't hold near the amount of info as my toodledo setup, so I just make time every evening to add context to the tasks i created quickly throughout the day. The repeat funtion in toodledo is very robust and can handle repeats upon completion or due date... very handy.
I'm working on sorting out their syncML api to make metadata come along some how. not sure yet.
I use a variant of a GTD methodology so my task list gets heavy usage and calendar is sparsely populated.

I used to keep a event but then when I complete I cannot mark it done and it disappears after the day is gone.
I tried creating a task, but it seems there is no way to create a recurring tasks in n900.
Any idea if this can be done?? if at all...
