Hi,

I'm trying to sniff on my local wifi network.

I've settup my network without wep/wpa and without mac address filter.

I can connect to my network and use the navigator.

When i capture packets generated by the navigator without monitor mode i can see my packet with tcpdump.

But when i set the monitor mode with : iwconfig mode monitor

i do a tcpdump and use my home computer (with wifi) to generate http traffic i don't see the packet but i get a lost of packet without sense. It's seems that the monitor mode screw up the driver or the chipset. And then tcpdump dump thoughless packet.

There is only my wifi netword available 10 Miles arround. So there is no interferances with other wifi network.

Someone have successfully set the wifi driver of the n800 to monitoring mode ?

Thanks.

Someone have successfully use tcpdump or dsniff on
