The battery condition status under "SETTINGS/DEVICE" tab reads "Good" .. shouldn't it be saying Excellent or Very GOOD for brand new phones ? i'm just curious pls help

I've used N900 before and i was in love with that phone until it got stolen .. after a year i have NOW purchased N9 for US$ 587. And i'm super excited and happy with my purchase.
I just want your help in guiding me how to check if my Nokia N9 is all original and i'm having second thoughts about it - since it reads CLASS B under "About the device" tab in settings. I am also reading about Updates pr 1.1 and i've checked it from my cell and as well as Nokia software updater - but theres no update.. so how do i update .. and is my device original i mean there's not 2 kinds out there, one that gets the updates and ones that dont
