Hi

I just want to clean up my N900 in order to apply the Speedpatch and maybe also the Batterypatch without having problems/incompatibilties due to older things installed.

If I let the application manager search for updates it this kernel related package (see picture).

Updating this fails returning the message "!!!~ breaks the 3rd party package policy".
In fact, I don't need a multiboot-kernel or image or whatsoever, so how can I at least permanently ignore the update-message for that package.

A few month ago I had Nitdroid installed. In order to use multiboot and overclocking under Maemo I installed a multiboot-power-kernel which was linked on the corresponding maemo.org-wiki page.
Having uninstalled Nitdroid I had several problems to get rid off that kernel and the newest version of the power-kernel (v48 I think it was).
Somehow I made it. Multiboot is gone and in the meantime v49 is installed and working, but it still wants to update that package mentioned above.

By the way, very often, especially when I go online, app tracker turns on and slows the whole system to death (I usually kick it with xterm). I probably should disable some repositories, but it is still very annoying that this process is able to stall the whole system.

Then another strange issue:
When I want to open the Ovi Store (not that I expect to get really good apps from there), there's page telling me to update my N900 (via application manager). But there is no update, or did I miss one?
