so nothing no response at all, no led even with the charger pluged in solid yellow or red? ...if not let it sit for a day with the battery out then try it again to see if there is any response ...if does then pali's open flasher or cold flashing should get the device running again.

You need to be sure the battery is charged, regardless of whether it is also plugged in.

Enjoyed my N900 for one whole week until it died.
My Thinkpad overheated whilst performing a firmware update. Phone no longer turns on. Pretty sure it is bricked unless one of you has some magical solution. I'm pretty livid about it.
