I was thinking more of an account plugin to send from the gallery app directly to imgur.

One of the things I'm missing on my n9 from the n900 is support for imgur account. So I can upload pics taken with the camera. In maemo you had:
https://github.com/tthurman/imgur-integration
which could be a good starting point. I personally liked the ability to take a pic, click share button select imgur and upload (anonymously).
