Hello,

I want to install uboot but when i am trying to install i get this message.

Code:
The following packages will be REMOVED: kernel-power kernel-power-modules
I use in the consolse to install uboot.

Code:
apt-get install uboot-pr13
Is it safe to remove the packages and install the uboot?

Because i wanna make a dualboot with Meego.

Kind regards,
Youri

I did the same thing and nothing happens but as you can see the kernel power will be removed but anyway do it at your own risk

You should definitely save that U-Boot before overwriting it with RedBoot, you may want to restore it in the future and others may be interested in a copy of it.

U-Boot is much more feature rich than RedBoot which is only a simple boot loader while U-Boot is a boot loader and monitor program.
