if the qml css supports the :after pseudoelement maybe you could use that

I want to change the operator name to any text of my choosing. I know there must be a way, most likely through simatk. How else could the system get the info from you sim card.
I know how to remove it completely, but that is different, as you simply edit the css to make the font size 0 or text colour black (but that will leave you with a blank space).
I also remember there is the contextkit, that you can provide services to. I think I once saw something w/ regards to cell service provider.
If anyone can give any insight, I would be greatly appreciative.
