or any suggested or easier way to export MicroSD card parition to Mac?

Search the repos for minidlna and a gui for that server. As I know not Macs, my concern is whether or not they can use dlna/UPnP as bonjour/zeroconf is the Apple way.

A dlna server gives great flexibility.

I had good experiences streaming with this. Al though my direction was from a desktop PC to my N900, but IIRC it can be used both ways.

I'm very pleased with fuppes, but it can be a pain to setup for the first time.
It transcodes FLAC to MP3 for streaming (streaming FLAC-size is silly imo), has a web-gui so that it can be configured from anywhere within the network and it streams my films flawlessly to every device without any drops. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be transcode Ogg Vorbis, but that's probably because I didn't configure that section corrrectly (and I honestly can't be bothered by it - I literally have 1 album in Ogg Vorbis. Nearly everything else is in FLAC).

Haven't used the ones used by the others, but it's nice to have options and fuppes fulfills my needs perfectly.
