Account name: your email address.. for example blahblah@gmail.com
Account type: pop3
Name: (your name )
user name: your full email address
password: your email password
E-mail address: self explanatory
Incoming server (pop3): pop.gmail.com
Outgoing server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com
use connection-specific smtp servers: check
then hit configure under smtp servers and hit edit
Server name: smtp.gmail.com
Smtp authentication: login
Username: email address
PAssword: your password
security: SSL
outgoing email port: 465
then hit ok and then close
then you should get a message saying account set up is complete, hit advanced and under retrieval
Retrieve: headers only
leave email on server: check
email sixe limit: 1000
Password authentication: normal
Security: SSL (pop3s)
under sending
Smtp authentication: login
username and then password: the usual
Security: SSL
outgoing email port: 465
under the composing tab you really dont need to do anything
under security, just check the last two options leave everything blank

I rechecked my password to ensure they are correct, and I am thinking anyone looking at this forum should be able to pinpoint what my problem might be. Thank you for your time, and please let me know what I am doing wrong. Some suggested using 995 as email port, but this did not work
