Did a quick search, but nothing similar popped. Apparently, symbian had the ABBY reader.

As the title states, I would like to see an app that would allow me to add a new contact or update the info of an existing contact by taking a picture of the business card.
Preferably it should automatically offer the option to choose between a few contacts that are a likely match.
Offline mode please, quite often a business trip means no access to the Almighty Internet.

Thanks,
Octav

This would be great, this is the work already done, recognition of the fields/info would be needed here is the work already done.

Too bad there is not an easy bank API(maybe there is?) to also allow bank deposits from photographed checks, I dont know of one though outside closed ones that are used by official iOS/Android bank apps. I suppose that is just sending a .png through a ssl connection along with an automated login.
