as user in terminal type:
Code:gconftool --recursive-unset /system/http_proxy gconftool --recursive-unset /system/proxy gconftool --recursive-unset /system/osso
Edit:
After doing the above, reboot then try creating your accounts again...The code above will delete your internet connections too...

bought an n9 last month and was able to successfully configure gmail, yahoo and facebook accounts. last week i cleared all accounts but since then i am not able to configure any accounts
ps: i am able to configure the nokia account.
