Im having some really odd problems with my N9. My device has been rebooted and reflashed a LOT of times.

But even after a reflash an hour ago, my device straight away has the same problems that have popped up recently.

I did not restore any backups.
Not incepted, only developer mode activated and untrusted sources.

Problems Im having:

- Icons for some apps that I install are green squircles.
- Unable to set permissions (chmod +x )


Any help is appreciated.

F2thak, after a full reflash if you restored data to your emmc partition you might be having the issue...did you try the following method: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...9&postcount=10

I try to delete file thru WinSCP and terminal but get "permission denied"

e: I didnt restore anything and did full reflash

run as user
as root
and as ariadne sh

yup running it as user should do the trick...its /home/user so root won't work...

How you install your apps? Via terminal or double click on file?
if from terminal, how? As root or as user?
I has similar problem with green icons when after rehash i installed my apps from terminal as user (dpkg -i). I reflashed again and installed all my apps as root and problem solved.

I installed them as root via terminal and filemanager, same outcome

flashed root and emmc with this :

which took ages

then installed filemanager via terminal as root, its icon works, always has.

then install n9qtweak8.6 via filemanager, icon is green...

deleted
as user, reboot

............icon is still green!!
