I did the unthinkable by replacing my beloved N900 with LG Optimus L7 after 2 years.
The L7 is just an entry level android (ICS) smartphone.
Dislikes:
Light sensor is missing.
No LED notifications.
I miss the power of terminal of N900.
No Contacts integration.
Likes:
Email is just so way better modest.
Live wallpaper is just perfect.
Viber is perfect. I really miss that on N900.
I can go on and on.
I just had to make the switch as the incoming phone call used to lag a lot. N900 literally used to freeze when connecting to the internet.
There is just so much more. I overclocked, used CSSU-stable,testing. No satisfaction.
I have not sold my n900 in the hope that maybe somebody
may build the perfect meego for n900.
In the meantime, I like to thank all the community for the great work they are doing. I do feel the efforts are now divided between maemo and meego.
I like to specially mention MAG, ejasmudar, the developer of VICAR for all their support.
P.S : Multitasking is good in android ics but not to the level of N900..
