Hi everybody!!

Im a java developper and Im currently developping a game"Yildiz-online".

Yildiz is a massively multiplayer strategy game(MMORTS). It's a combination of classical startegy game(like: Homeword or Starcraft) and management game(like: Ogame).

The game takes place in outer space colonized by humans, a lost expedition found abandonned space bases built by unknown civilization. After some centuries they developped and colonized the entire system.

The game is entirely in 3 dimensions. Goal is to develop and assure the management of its base,or if you wish, to create an army to attack other players to steal their resources.

Yildiz combines two different styles of games. It offers an innovative experience and offers a community aspect which pushes the interactions between players to widely promote theirdevelopment and the different possible research offer a wide range of customizing the way you play.

The project is developed in java for the API and the surface of the engine. The internal components are in C++.

Now the game is under Alpha test and I need volunteers to help me knowing if the game works fine, if there are any bugs...

Which device is this aimed for?

Am I to assume that this is aimed at one of the Maemo/MeeGo devices?
Though the resolutions of the picture do not suggest so.

Neither of them, it's for Windows 7 SP1.

This is the same message that has been posted to stack loads of forums recently. It's completely unrelated to Maemo/Meego or mobile phones. It's spam.

Indeed it is not related to maemo, the project community manager was not aware of the nature of maemo whe she posted this.

This project is meant to be a free game, i am the only programmer on it, i also do all visual part, and, without any funding for that, i need help from communities to improve it.

I suppose most of you access this forum from a computer, so anyone can try it.

For those who consider this as spam, i apologize, the goal is to offer a new kind of game, for free, not to cause some problems on forum, anyway i am sure you understand that being completly indie is difficult and that this project need every help it can get to be achieved.

Looks to me like you're trawling the net looking for any forum and posting this message on it. Makes me wonder what little secrets might be in your code, but then I'm just a skeptic.

this is the first post i made when i started the project, as you can see, i ve been working on this project for several years, so if you think i d be stupid enough to ruin that work to hide some malware in code, feel free to use antivirus on it or some network interceptor to read the network protocol, you'll see that nothing else than data from the game is transmitted and that passwords are hashed and cannot be read nor retrieved by me.

Still doesn't get round the fact that you've resorted to spamming forums to advertise your game. Sorry, but in my book spammers always have ulterior motives. Yes, I'm a skeptic but that's just the way I roll. At the very least you're abusing this forum for free advertising which is against the T&C:
