A PPPoE-over-Wifi client. Had been working on this a while back, but never got around to completing it, until I saw a post requesting for a pppoe client a week back or so.

Features
* Create and manage PPPoE account details. The accounts are managed from a control panel applet.
* Set an account to automatically connect for selected wireless networks. So e.g once you connect to your home wifi network, your preferred PPPoE account can automatically connect.
* Connection indicator icon in the status bar and status menu plugin, which provides a menu to dial, disconnect or get connection status.

Hope someone finds this useful. It's available from extras-devel; requires that you use the enhanced kernel.

Just bumping thread as it seems such a useful piece of SW went unnoticed (lots of hype around Elop's e-mails)

can you please add support for dialling pppoe using usb Ethernet devices (used under usb host) ?

thanks ivyking, I'll have a look and give it a shot; can't promise when though, this was done when I had some spare time.

It should support PPP over serial modem (connected via USB host mode) :-)

pali, I hope ur kidding :-) To be honest, I'm not sure I have enough "know-how" to implement support for PPP over serial modem. I think I'd only consider putting the effort depending on how many ppl would actually want it. :-(

@ut0p14n: I did not see your application source code, but I'm thinging that you are using pppd daemon. If this is true, you only need to configure pppd for serial modem... But I'm only thinking about it.
