Im sorry if you've read this in another topic, i posted it in the wrong place.
I have the old 2006 os version, and i cant update it with nokia updater. I tried it on four computers. It couldnt connect to the internet when i was on it, it said i didnt have the right time on my computer and i did, and on another computer it said i tried too many times so it kicked me off. I tried it manually from the website nokia gave me and it said it wasnt compatible with my device. I tried it on xp and vista. The usb signal is in the top right corner, its all plugged in, the updater recognizes it, What can i do?

I don't know what your Windows problem is, as I don't use Windows to update my 770/N800 but what I suggest you do is download a Linux LiveCD (try Damn Small Linux - it's a 50MB ISO) and boot Linux from the CD. Or use the Ubuntu Feisty Fawn LiveCD (it's a bit larger though at close to 700MB). Then update your device using the Linux flasher-3.0 utility.

How about you actually help me on one of them? That way i wouldnt have to put it in three different threads. That would be a bit more effective than having an attitude, wouldn't it?

You're the one with the attitude - posting multiple threads on the same subject says it's all "me, me, me".

Post once and wait. Bump your thread after a day or so if you don't get an answer. Alternatively, SEARCH the forum if you don't get an answer - chances are it's been answered a dozen times already (as yours has) and people don't want to waste their time answering it yet again for someone who can't be bothered to put in some effort to help themselves.

What he ^ said... and I might add. Search before you bump.

Members of this board by and large are a helpful bunch. If your question does not garner a reply within a day or two it usually is a strong indicator that those who would help have already answered the question 2 or 3 times in other threads.

A user forum is a great place to find information. However, it is not an on-line help desk and it requires some user input and effort.
