I made a transparent wall mounted wireless charging "pocket" for my Jolla. Now i would like to see clock in it while charging, so i'm thinking about writing my own app to show it where i want. However i have no idea if it's possible to trigger app when the phone starts charging, and close it when it stops.

Also, is it possible to keep screen on endlessly while charging?

Use dbus-monitor to see if there's anything you can trigger on.

The screen can be activated with mcetool.
