Thought I would share the work I've been doing on separating out the alphabet sorted menu out of the People app into something that developers can actually use for navigating big lists.

It's currently a bit of a mock-up of how the media player app would look instead of having an impossible to navigate 'All Songs' menu for anyone with a decent collection on their phone

Yeah maybe once its in a more modular state I can do a full write up, still too much hardcoding at the moment.

Ideally id like to get it to a point where you can just give it a ListModel, set a few properties and then it will sort itself out.

Sure, having ready-to-use component will be great
