A bit of background.

Got a N9 from an ebay reseller. it came from china with the dreaded

PR1.3 003

I tried to flash PR1.3 001 and the flash didn't proceed because of the "Downgrade" issue.

I used the OS X flasher on an Intel I5 Macbook Pro Retina with Mavericks 10.9.5.

After the 001 flash failed, I downloaded the original Chinese 003 and tried to flash. It hung. Here are the results from terminal:

The status bar on the phone was at 100% full.

At this point the white power LED, stays lit up for about 8 seconds, blinks once, then lights again. This repeats infinitely.
