What do you want from Google?
An e-mail account is working.
But no G Talk (or Hangout or whatever called).
Was calendar sync with Google possible at all? No idea (never would do that)

Google calendar (even multiple) should work via CalDav:

Google hangouts via plugin form open repos:

The only problem we could have with gogle contacts sync, here I'd recommend using M$ outlook.com and exchange setup that should work

But the OS was completely abandon, and have problems login to google and live account with exchange setup. It there a way to synchronize contact, email and calendar on the N9 with those accounts in 2016?
Also plan to get a Jolla OS phone, to test how far this great OS have come.
