Hello,

Has anyone tethered successfuly to a sprint treo755p? I have unlimited data plan and have been reading what to put for username and password. Some places say leave all blank. Some say user for username and user for password. Some say phone_number@sprintpcs.com and password blank. I have no idea which is right and I've tried it all, none of them work. Tried checking on howardforum also, but don't seem to see anyone trying to tether to a treo755p. I've successfuly done it to a nokia 6650 tmobile before. This one is a pain in the ***. Sprint sucks. If anyone got any tips I'd appreciated.

Oh and I'm trying to connect my N800 OS2008

For my 700P I use username, password. I do not use username@sprintpcs.com, just username. The password is the same one I use for sprintpcs email.

The important part is to properly install the hack on your Treo.. Goto treocentral.com and look around their forums.

As for me, I just leave the username password blank on my Treo 700p

Without hack -
a. you must pay for additional sprint phone-as-modem plan
b. you enter your user name and password per the sprint user guide.

With hack -
a. you pay no extra phone-as-modem fee. sprint sees your data as if you were using the internal phone browser.
b. no need for a user name and password. leave them blank.

Is this so for OS2008? I was forced to enter a username/password during setup.

Even though it prompts for it, username/password should be blank.
