If you use camkeyd to bring up the task switcher, you still have to select the thumbnail afterwards. btw, from the photos that I have of the test N9 consumer device, I cannot tell if it has a camera button or not. I can see 3 silver coloured buttons protruded on the right. Looks like Volume up, down plus a power/lock button just below it. I really hope it does have a camera button. If so, we could probably get camkeyd-like daemon/app created for the N9 as well anyways. =)
K123, can you confirm if it does have a camera button or not?

What do you guys think the N9/Ion/U will cost?
The hardware will not be high end... So I guess € 450!?

450€-500€ before taxes and subsidies. that would be my guess. just have a look at the price point of X7.LOL.
except the SoC everything else is „high-end“, especially
the OS!
And if guys like k123, zeh...are not playing games with us then the way you interact with this device seems „super-future-high-end.

To be fair, no actual proof of SoC, only supposition. K123 said he THINKS it's single core and zehjotkah speak about "same SoC as the first Nokia WP Phone".
Not forgetting that this phone got HDMI out that is not present in TI OMAP 3 soc.
Mmm confusing...

webOS feels more like a phone OS. PIM: I would say they're on par. But webOS doesn't have a homescreen/widgets like maemo where you can put a calendar overview. So you have to start the calendar app. But I'm not a heavy PIM user, I only trust my brain..
Yes, the camera is a downgrade. I love to do macro shots with the N900. Not possible with a webOS device up to date.
There are some similarities regarding the UI comparing webOS and Harmattan. No wonder as the webOS UI designer works on Harmattan now.

i know, but zeh also said the dev-device would be announced at MC and N9/ION would have U8500. I think it was the same source who was telling him the N9/Ion will use the same SoC like Nokia WP7.
