my first post. I got my n810 yesterday and have been playing around for a while. Very nice. I am also using when I wake up in the middle of the night to read some news and try to get sleep again...
I also tried to install Skype and the system wouldn't allow it because it needs the new firmware (or software version). Mine is v. 1.2007.42-18, but the newer one is 19 and the Nokia web site specifies that to make skype work, we need this last version.
I have trouble updating the OS via the Nokia installer. The installer would not 'see' the device. I have tried it several times and also made the attempt on another computer. Any hints?
I am running Windows XP SP2 and I followed the instructions.
Thanks and sorry for the length of this post.
