Yeah you will be able to do everything concerning multimedia under NitDroid
If you have this error, it means that you have the application manager opened or maybe it's is refreshing the application list (updating) in the background. Wait for it to finish and then do the apt-get update.

yeah IT WORKEDnow iv got a new error... when i type
apt-get install nitdroid-installer
the error i get is
nitdroid installer: depends: multiboot-kernal-maemo (>=0.3) but it is not going to be installed
depends: mutliboot-kernal-mameo (>=0.3) but it is not going to be installed
depends: wget but it is not going to be installed
depends: bzip2 but it is not installed
wgames: depends: preenv (>= 0.1.5) but 0.1.1 is to be installed
E: unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution)
OMG!! i thought it was a simple thing to get NITdroid lol but im getting these errors and im sooo confusedhelp please

Try to execute 'apt-get -f install' then execute 'apt-get install nitdroid-installer' again.

yeah iv done every thing lol and iv still got the same problem :'(

it looks like you need to install bzip2 and maybe wget aswell
try
apt-get install bzip2 wget
if these install repeat previous post for installation of nitdroid installer aswell as apt-get update ect
