yes, i have tried several times, including restarting the app, and waiting for 15-20 minutes for the list to load. it doesn't work.

Do you have a lot of playlists? Is it possible that this could be a temporary problem, i.e., have this problem occured several days, or have you just installed QSpot? Sometimes it can be problems with the playlist servers.

Would it be possible for you to start qspot from the x-terminal (/opt/qspot/bin/qspot) and then supply me the console output when logging in? I have myseelf only exprienced the same problem temporarily. Hopefully we can sort out the reason for this issue.

Aenbacka,

It is a habbit of mine to skip to the next track in the last few seconds of a track. I have noticed that Qspot then restarts the buffering of the new track, despite that it has allready buffered some data in preparation of the end of the last.

Is it possible to have Qspot first look for some allready buffered data, when skipping to the next track, before rebuffering?

Thanks for the useful feedback, I think it should be possible to add such a feature to QSpot in a forthcoming version..

here's what i see:

> set_stream 'Qspot'
Num of active configs 1
Set active bearer: "WLAN"
Initiating connect()
"User pie_bob logged in.."
Got here...
Fetch root playlist container..
Container loaded callback..
Playlist container loaded
Number of playlists: 10
Adding playlist: best of bootie
Adding playlist: chillits sets
Adding playlist: For you, my friends
metadata updated..
metadata updated..
metadata updated..
Adding playlist:

(it goes on to list the rest of my playlists, interspersed with 'metadata updated..' messages)

still no list when i select a playlist.

edit: interesting: the one playlist that DOES display is "Hello America. Spotify here.", which is a playlist spotify made available to all the new users from the US.

Seems to be a DNS-related problem, i.e., the Spotify server DNS info cannot be resolved of some reason. Is some login error message displayed by QSpot? Are you using wifi / 3G connection?

Very strange indeed, as it seems that the playlist containers load ok. Is this problem only with qspot, or have you tried some other client e.g., yaspot or footify?
