Seems like a n00b mistake, copying the the text straight to import does the trick.
Well the dock succeeded this way, but not the clock part - it always gives the whine "warning! bad checksum! possibly corrupt import instance data" - Anyone has ideas how to overcome this?
btw. I guess on the dock.zip/beecon.zip the contact.file has wrong info, info of the dock itself.

after doing step number 6,i am getting this
what do i do?and sorry as i dont know much about qbw,still learning.help please !
And everytime i am trying qbw in a new desktop ,i m getting qbw with the same as above,how do i get rid of this or how do i make this right ?

I guess your pics are not in the right place, in '/home/user/.queen_beecon_dir/' ?

yeah understood,sensible beecon folder files should be in qb_dir/
thanks between ,but umm i had to know how the dock icons gonna work ? or they are just for desktop beauty ? ;p
and also if i have to make it in portrait mode ,do i have to install portrait hildon desktop or qbw does the whole thingy ?

after i type : mv /home/user/MyDocs/Sensible_Clock/* /home/user/.queen_beecon_dir/ - tells me this: mv: cannot rename ............. : No such file or directory

i've done the 1'st and 2'nd steps!

in this case you have to copy-paste whole command in one line

root
mv /home/user/MyDocs/Sensible_Clock/* /home/user/.queen_beecon_dir

then apt-get wget

sensible beecon folder files must be kept in queen_beecon_dir/ (every png.file should always be in qb_dir/ )
sensible_clock folder should be in mydocs (root folder)
and go for next steps ,you really should be okey .

I would guess that the folders/directories sensible_clock / and _beecon does not has to be in any specific folder, just the pics since u move them away from sensible_clock also I guess files in beecon are just up-to-be-read by the widget itself as configuration data.

Anyways, I can go forward all other "config"-files but these 4 files: sensible_hr1 and 2, sensible_mn1 and 2 give me the bad checksum-error, what I am not getting gurus?

nope except png.files ,everything should be in root folder.
this is how xterminal works

root folder is not active(means that isnt in MyDocs.so check it again .try this way .

Are you suggesting that problem is that files are not in /home/user/MyDocs/ ? They are but i dont think the location is the problem. It seems that no one else has this problem or not just getting something.

Well got it now, it seems that didnt read the whole chain good enough. Very cool this is and if one can hope, for tomorrows try-outers all the info about possible fails would be cool to have on first page
