A relatively conservative bump in specs...

Sigh, if only the N9 was out freaking 2mth+ ago.
I have serious doubts that it was impossible for it to be out before Sep30th.
Irrespective of the UX re-write, omit 1 or 3 major features, & it's do-able.
Something else is going on IMO....
