Also, run top or htop and see what process is eating your cpu.

i had speedpatch installed, then reflashed the phone (combined eMMC), then restore the list of apps from backup, Is speedpatch present in my phone now, or would i need to reinstall it?

ok. fine! i remove both the speed patch battery patch and tried reinstalling only the battery patch. i used the exact commands as karam has mentioned.

apt-get install dbus-scripts kernel-power-settings

cp /home/user/MyDocs/batterypatch-install.sh.txt /home/user/batterypatch-install.sh.txt

chmod +rwx /home/user/batterypatch-install.sh.txt
/home/user/batterypatch-install.sh.txt

kernel-config default custom-karam #

but after typing the last command , i got this :

yup! i somehow managed to install it again..! but still the battery keeps draining. i charged my mobile like for HOURS, and it will be drained in 30 minutes! any solution?

Hi karam got a bit of a problem i'm not really sure if this is anything to do with either battery patch or speedpatch i'm not sure whats caused this but everytime i have look at conky the CPU load is very high even though no extra apps are running CPU load is at 8.70: 7.60: 4.78 etc
which is very high its always at similar levels everytime after i wake up the phone normally it used to be close to 0.00: 0.00: 0.00 after long time of no activity!
Is this harmful for my N900?
what can i do to solve this?

hey karam i have tested and noticed that the battery patch works flawless when on standby but takes up much battery on usage. like while pplaying angry birds n browsing on the web. can u include in the next patch the battery saving in usage also like while using the phone for playing or for wifi?
