Hi,

I have 29xx music files on my computer, but my phone shows me I have got 31xx.
I deleted al the files from my phone, but still when I open mediaplayer it says I have 330 music files. when I try to play one of them, its says: can't find file

Is it a problem with the tracker? can I reset it?

N900 isn't a phone, its an internet tablet with phone functionality.

At the time when your mediaplayer said that you have 330 music files it could be trying to update its database. Nonetheless execute this as user in X-Terminal:
Code:
tracker-process -r
Wait for a few minutes and launch mediaplayer, you will see a banner indicating that it is updating the list of media you have on the device.

Yes, tracker-processes -r was accepted by xterminal but didn't fix the problem any new ideas?

I tried again today. problem solved.

Thanks everyone
